The problem was reported by a customer, and I've duplicated on my machine. I've spent over an hour googling, and nothing seems to fit. I was browsing it in IE7, and can browse it now in FF/Chrome w/o issue. If I go to the https site, I get security warnings, continue anyway, see the insecure warnings, then see the entire page, then a message: Internet Explorer cannot open the Internet Site. I've tried connecting directly, connecting through Privoxy (locally), auto-detecting network settings, no change. Page properties are: res://ieframe.dll/dnserror. "If this is an HTTPS (secure) address, click Tools, click Internet Options, click Advanced, and check to be sure the SSL and TLS protocols are enabled under the security section "There might be a typing error in the address. "The Domain Name Server (DNS) does not have a listing for the website's domain. "The Domain Name Server (DNS) is not reachable. This problem can be caused by a variety of issues, including: I just installed IE8 on XP, and a site I manage now cannot be displayed.
